The Brunty Glen Beat
is a very natural wild and picturesque area of the Lammermuirs where birds are presented over valleys from heather and bracken clad hills, mostly Red Leg Partridges with some Greys and an odd Grouse.

The Raecleuchhead Beat. Guns stand in picturesque valleys where bracken and gorse provide the cover, no game plots are used so every bird presents a very different target with birds curling high and fast over the guns providing excellent sport. This beat was featured in the Shooting Times in 2005.
